I’d like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Judy Burge and I am the Founder of Mindful Weight Management (MWM).
I founded MWM after finally figuring out the solution to long term weight loss following many, many years of yo-yo dieting. I knew I was onto something when I was able to maintain my weight for several years in a row & still do to this day.
I am passionate about healthy weight loss, but even more passionate about providing weight loss education to other people. I have experienced and seen firsthand in others how mindful eating works and achieves incredible weight loss results!
So, what do I mean mindful eating? Mindful eating is not only about what you eat, but also about how and why you eat, and in my experience, this is what is missing in most ‘diet’ plans on the market and why you often gain the weight back again once you have completed your ‘diet’. With MWM you are not on a ‘diet’ but instead make life long changes to your lifestyle.
In my own personal journey, I educated and experimented on myself, along with some trusting friends who now also enjoy the benefits of living a healthier lifestyle! I have a degree in Behavioural Science so combined these learnings along with completing a Diploma in Weight Management so that I could educate others.
